Calidus Aerospace awards contract for Triumph Group B250 engine control quadrant assembly system
BERWYN, Pennsylvania., November 16, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Triumph Group [NYSE:TGI] announced today that its Triumph Mechanical Solutions plant in Heiligenhaus, Germany was awarded a two-year contract with Calidus Aerospace LLC to design, develop and manufacture the throttle quadrant assembly for the B-250 aircraft. Triumph has developed a complete subsystem solution for Calidus, comprising engine control, quadrant and linkages in a single, fully integrated solution. This is Triumph’s first prize with Calidus, the United Arab Emiratesmanufacturer of the B-250 based aircraft.
The B-250 is a superior and highly efficient light attack aircraft that is designed specifically for asymmetric war zones and easily adapts to the harshest terrain and weather conditions.
