Commercial heating and ventilation specialists Lord Combustion Services have won three awards of excellence in one night in recognition of their high standards over the past 12 months.
The Oldbury-based company has won two top awards at the 2021 Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards, the Service Company of the Year award with Emma Tibbetts, winner of the Director of the Year, as well as the trophy for sustainability at the West Midlands Business Masters Awards.
As the company prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary, Chief Executive Officer Stuart Smith and the team at Lord Combustion Services have been recognized for their achievements during the Covid-19 pandemic and successive lockdowns, as well as for easing subsequent restrictions.
The award recognition follows a year of continued success for Lord, which has increased revenues and profits while increasing staffing levels to nearly 50 employees.
The 2021 Chamber of Commerce Awards celebrated the achievements of businesses in the region “as they tried to restart, rebuild and bounce back” after the pandemic. Lord was a finalist in five categories, taking home two awards when the winners were announced at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
